Welcome to Linton Village Hall

Linton Village Hall is a community space located in the Village of Linton, Derbyshire. We host a number of regular activities including, fitness classes, amateur theatre shows, auctions, and Slimming World groups.

Hiring the Hall

The Hall is available to book for regular or one-off public activities.

About the Hall

Linton Village Hall is a community space located in the Village of Linton close to the A444. The hall is a registered charity and is run by volunteers. The Village Hall hosts a number of regular activities including, fitness classes, amateur theatre shows, auctions, and Slimming world groups. The Hall is available to hire on a regular basis or for private one-off functions.

​The Hall  has been fully renovated in 2020 and includes entrance foyer, main hall, kitchen, stage and toilets  which include disabled and baby change facilities. Learn more about the Hall’s Facilities below.

Hall Facilities

The hall has been extensively renovated in 2020 and operates with eco-friendly heating and lighting.

  • ​Main Hall with fresh air hot and cold air conditioning (not recycled) 11m x 16m
  • Fixed Stage 11m x 4m with curtains and lighting
  • Entrance foyer. Leading to toilets and storeroom.
  • Toilets including a separate disabled toilet
  • Baby change (within disabled toilet and female toilet).
  • Kitchen: with microwave, kettle, urn, oven, fridge and washing-up facilities and serving hatch.
  • Dining/ Bar area with 10m worktop space
  • Licensed bar available as part of hire
  • Chairs: 140  chairs ( a mixture of padded and wipeable ideal for children’s parties).
  • Tables: 4 x 6ft tables and 14 x 4ft tables and 15 x 2ft
  • Car park: with room for 30+ cars as well as 3 disabled spaces.
  • Garden: There is a fully secured lawned garden which can only be accessed through the main hall. Perfect for little ones to play safely

​All areas except the stage is fully accessible to wheel-chair users
